I am concerned with the death at the neck, which is perhaps the most common form of violent death. That is the point where there is an actual cutting, like in a guillotine.

What happens to the breath? This is what has concerned me in these weeks - what actually happens? We know blood flows, but breath must also flow... so what happens to a breath if a head is cut off, or if a head is attacked to the point where death follows instantly or soon after?
