To mark the centenary of the founding of the Cabaret Voltaire in Zurich, CITIES AND MEMORY offered a range of field recordings to be worked with. Kurt Schwitters passes through Liverpool en route to the Isle of Man. Dunn, Young and Heslop sift through their collection of frail human recordings, from individuals isolated by society to those left severly damanged by the military's LSD experiments. These voices are layered over peculiar recordings of Mexican water hoses and Formula 1 trials.
