11 May 2004. Two years later, fear-evol-sex graffiti remains. Back wall has been re-scrubbed or re-painted with blue and step arrows appear. | |||

Wall to right of chairs (halo side). Feint text appears. Possibly 'ALL THE WAY' or 'WALK THIS WAY'. | |||
November 2004. fear-evol-sex text has been removed. Mrs Betty Simpson (God Mother to the artist Alan Dunn) polishes the graffited plaque adjacent to RAY + JULIE. | |||
April 2005 UPDATE 1. Chair owners, Liverpool Architecture & Design Trust (LADT) formally wound down. Responsibility passed on to Liverpool City Council. Contact between artists and LCC's Peter O'Brien, who is extremely glad to "have found some living artists to deal with" in the management of Liverpool sculptures. With regard to the site, Peter mentions that at one point the land was potentially part of the new Magistrates Court development but it is now looking likely that R+J will remain for at least another 12 months. |

April 2005 UPDATE 2. April-June issue of hotline magazine carries article on "Hidden Art of Liverpool", including "2Chairs". At time of writing (18th April), "2 Chairs" are in equal seventh place in the "most popular" poll , with 6%. Website here. Follow "Monumental Art" link. |
